Year 11-12 senior science has arrived
Three new subjects for senior students — Biology III, Chemistry III and Physics III — 15 levels each, 450 questions. Pitched where senior science actually gets hard: you calculate rather than recall. Titrations and Ksp, projectile motion and Lorentz factors, Hardy-Weinberg and enzyme kinetics, plus a full level on experimental design and uncertainty in each subject.

Fairer questions — no more guessing by length
Students had spotted that the correct answer was usually the longest, most detailed option, so a quiz could be beaten without reading the questions. We have now rebuilt all 750 questions across Physics II and the three Year 11-12 subjects: every option is matched in length, and every wrong answer is a genuine misconception rather than a throwaway. You also learn more from getting one wrong. The remaining topics are being reworked the same way.

Another five levels in each Year 9-10 science, taking every one to 300 questions. Chemistry II adds atomic structure & periodic trends, group chemistry, water & solutions, metal extraction, and fuels & sustainable chemistry. Biology II adds cells & the cell cycle, enzymes, digestion & circulation, ecosystems & nutrient cycles, and classification & conservation. How does the daily streak work?+
Complete any quiz on consecutive calendar days and your streak grows. If you miss a day it resets to 1. The home screen updates its colour and message as your streak builds — green for a fresh start, orange at 3 days, and a pulsing red fire from day 7 onwards.
Is A Star Science actually free?+

Do I need to create an account?+
